Join us for a Safety Breakfast on ANSI/ASSP A10.49-2022 Control of Chemical Health Hazards in Construction and Demolition Operations

Assessing employee exposures to chemicals during construction and demolition operations is challenging for some contractors and often an area where we find a gap in regulatory compliance. Additionally, many safety managers are not comfortable with industrial hygiene sampling.

This new ANSI/ASSP Standard sets minimum requirements for controlling health risks from chemical and toxic substances. It establishes procedures for identifying and evaluating chemicals, and selecting appropriate control strategies.

The safety breakfast is an informal and enjoyable opportunity to network with other members of the general, construction, and engineering industries while gaining free and effective safety training. We encourage attendees to bring and exchange business cards and service literature.

Attendees Will Learn:

  • Key elements of the new standard
  • Common chemicals used in construction and demolition
  • Using the Safety Data Sheets for exposure assessments
  • Industrial hygiene basics for chemical monitoring
  • Introduction to OSHA logs platform that allows contractors to utilize technology for reporting OSHA compliance and records

Registration / Networking: 8:00am
Presentation: 8:30am

Certificate of attendance documenting training for OSHA compliance will be provided. Free to attend, but Registration is Required. Hot breakfast
 served. Click HERE for flyer.
